As a third generation family member of the Krapf Group, Gary began working from the ground up to learn every aspect of the growing pupil transportation firm, learning directly from one of the best in the business – his grandfather and founder, George Krapf, Jr.
By the time Gary graduated from Gettysburg College in 1991, the Krapf organization had expanded into public transportation services, which is where he officially began his full time employment.
As the President of Krapf Transportation, Gary effectively oversees all daily operations of the transit, motorcoach and paratransit units of the Krapf Group. He is responsible for monitoring the efforts and activities of personnel, capital, and services to reduce costs, improve productivity and enhance operating efficiencies. Additionally, he is responsible for business growth and direct relationships with county and municipality officials and key providers.
