Become a Driver

Krapf Coaches is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

We are always looking for dedicated members to join our team. Providing and sustaining top-notch service through Krapf Coaches, Krapf Transit, and Rover Community Transportation requires a whole lot of quality people, from drivers and mechanics to dispatchers and office personnel. We have a particularly urgent need for drivers. Krapf’s uniformed, licensed, professional operators make every trip a special occasion, with emphasis on passenger safety and friendly service.

Working at Krapf Coaches for 17 years has granted me opportunities and freedoms that are rare in the workplace, such as, developing a relationship with President, Gary Krapf and knowing his door is always open. Whether it is discussing the history of the company or what is expected of me as a driver, he trusts and values my opinion and input.

For about 3 years my route was Parkesburg/Coatesville; I was then given the opportunity to drive the SEPTA routes, a few motorcoach charters and even the limousines before permanently being assigned to the Route A bus. This gave me the chance to be me, and interact with people from all walks of life in an environment that wasn’t confined to four walls.

There are times when it’s necessary to step up and be a team player to get something done. These times don’t go unnoticed, and are always met with a heartfelt “thank you” which makes it all worthwhile."

Ed Dickinson, Transit Driver

I have been a driver for Krapf since August 2010 when I was hired through Advanced Student Transportation in Delaware. In 2013, I moved to the ROVER Community Transportation division- a great service to the residents of Chester County. While at Rover, I met and got to know Gary Krapf. He is full of energy, passionate about his family legacy and genuinely cares about his employees. In 2015 I had the opportunity to continue my driving career with Krapf Transit. I can honestly say, I have never been a part of anything like this. We are more than just a team, we are Krapf Family."

Iulian Abrudan, Transit Driver

I joined the Krapf organization in 2001. I realized on my second day of work that I had become part of a special team. As events unfolded on 9/11/01 we all realized we were witnessing one of the darkest days in American History. Our entire office staff came together and began making phone calls redirecting our drivers and passengers to safety. We battled jammed phone lines and echoes of “all circuits are busy” could be heard throughout the offices. This team spirit has continued throughout the years but was never more memorable than when I suffered two different personal tragedies. The outpouring of support I received was overwhelming. I learned then that we are all part of a Krapf family."

Cindi Metivier, Senior Dispatcher

Our recent Gentrification Tour of Philadelphia was a great success. The Phlash bus was on time, clean and comfortable and the driver was efficient, competent and professional in every imaginable way. I have nothing but thanks and appreciation to everyone who helped make an exceptional experience for our students."
