Motor Coaches are safe. The bureau of transportation reports that buses are twice as safe as flying and 46 times safer than driving an automobile.
Motor Coaches reach more destinations. Buses take you right to the doorstep of your destination. Planes and Trains only take you to the nearest stop.
Motor Coaches allow mobility. Coaches are available to taxi your group around for your entire day.
Motor Coaches are the most fuel efficient. Motor Coaches only use 797 BTU's per passenger mile compared to using 4847, trains using 2450 and autos using 3639 according to the US Department of Transportation energy book data, 1999 (Bureau of transportation statistics, center for transportation analysis).
Motor Coaches are better for the environment. Because of their fuel efficiency, buses are better for the environment than most other alternatives.
What is the cancellation policy?
The $100 deposit is non-refundable and is forfeited with cancellation. Cancellations made with less than 2 weeks notice will incur a charge of 20% of the total amount or $100- whichever is the greater amount. Cancellations made less than 7 business days prior to the day of service, will incur a charge of 50% of the charter amount, while cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% charge.

How much of a deposit is required?
$100 per coach per day is required at the time of booking.
When is the final payment due?
The balance (less deposit paid) is due 30 days prior to the first date of service.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept: American Express, Master Card and Visa credit cards.
We also accept money orders and checks. These should be made payable to Krapf's Coaches, Inc and sent to: 1060 Saunders Lane West Chester, PA 19380. In order to expedite the process, it is important to note your six-digit confirmation number on your check.
How soon do I need to reserve service?
The earlier you make your reservations, the more options you will have. The fall and spring are the busier times, so we recommend booking at least 12 weeks prior. In less demanding times, 6 weeks prior is acceptable.
Do I need to tip the motor coach driver?
Unless otherwise stated in our contract, gratuity is not included in the pricing. Driver gratuity is based on the level of service provided. 15-18% of the total is customary gratuity for a motor coach driver.
Do I need to pay for parking, tolls and other fees?
Our pricing is all inclusive. However, there are times when parking is not included in the pricing. Please ask your representative if parking is included or separate when reserving your service.
Do I need to reserve the hotel room for the motor coach driver?
Yes, for overnight trips, it is customary to reserve the driver's hotel room. Each driver requires a single hotel room. In many cases, hotels will comp the driver's room. This is at the discretion of the hotel. Contact the hotel's group sales office for assistance.
Is alcohol or smoking permitted?
Smoking is not allowed on any Krapf Coach. Alcohol is permitted provided that all passengers are of the legal drinking age. Only plastic or aluminum containers are allows. Coolers must be placed on a passenger seat, not in the aisle. Kegs and Beer Balls are not allowed. In some cases a security deposit is required. Please check with your representative.
I have a CDL License, can I charter a bus without a operator?
No, our insurance policy does not allow this.
Can I purchase just one or two seats for a trip?
Individual seats are offered on our Line Run Service to the Atlantic City Casinos.
We also periodically have trips on specific days that are available for individual purchase.
