Residents of Chester County, young or old, ambulatory or wheelchair-bound, are welcome to Share-The-Ride on Krapf paratransit coaches.
Krapf Bus Company is proud of this public/private partnership providing a high quality transportation service to county residents at an economical cost.
Share-The-Ride was formed with Chester County in 1984. Now Krapf operates more than 58 specially equipped vehicles per day to give unique transportation assistance to all residents of Chester County 65+ years of age; Chester County HandiCrafters, a non-profit organization serving the area’s mental health/mental retardation citizens; Human Services of Chester County members; those in need of medical assistance; and other sponsoring agencies.
Also, all individuals with a current medical assistance card are able to use this transportation program for appointments where the medical card is used as payment for services provided at the destination.
