Become A School Bus Operator!
We know driving a school bus takes a special type of person. A person who cares about others, and most of all, a person who is conscientious, safety minded and dependable. So if you are interested in working 20 to 30 hours per week driving school children to and from school each day, we can be your perfect opportunity for great employment.
Krapf’s will provide complete training for the Commercial Driver License and the Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Certification. Our starting salary is $12.55* per hour with drivers averaging $250 to $375 per week. Top salary is $16.50 per hour. Vacations are the same as the school district’s, with summer and all major holidays off. It’s a great job for anyone with small children (over 2 years old). They can ride with mom or dad each day saving thousands in day care costs! Retired persons on social security can benefit by working minimal hours while staying within their allowable earned income. Krapf’s is a family and community oriented company that offers an ideal work environment for homemakers, retirees or self-employed individuals.
Training is conducted year round. All instruction and certification is done within our organization. We pay for all permits, licenses, physicals and training. Our instructors are state-certified CDL examiners.
